STUDY DAY, organized by Artec, Paris 8 and ensad. 02/05/2025
Musical theatre.
Dynamic ideography, a writing of movement. Animated signs and animation cinema as composition and direction languages for music and for the stage.
To what extent can a language of dynamic ideograms, using tools derived from animation, be integrated into musical and stage composition and how can this type of device be involved in the compositional and performative process?
We will see, building on the experiences of Gustavo Almenara and Romain Blanc-Tailleur around the 'The Animated Score' device, how the design and integration of dynamic signs based on the pure expression of movement can redefine writing and performance in the fields of music, dance, scenography.

PARTITION#2 - Conference and Performance,
Le cube, digital creation centre, Issy les Moulineaux 21/12/2017
Animated score: a moving graphic writing, dynamic ideography. This new quality induces a temporal perception of the sign for those who read, interpret or improvise, and makes it a vector of understanding of their very matter: the expression of movement. It becomes a structuring tool of writing or direction, the engine of improvisation, revealing the inner landscape of the interpreter.
